Dry shipping Dewar care
- The dry shipper should be properly dried out after each use, especially if it was opened and closed many times at the synchrotron. Moisture can get into the sorption material and seriously compromise its cooling capacity. The next time the Dewar is cooled with liquid nitrogen, the water freezes to ice in the material preventing it from being able to sorb the nitrogen
