Xcell specifications
The size of the chamber has been carefully profiled to fit popular loop mounting systems and to limit the consumption of expensive xenon gas. The capacity of the chamber is about 10cc.
Safety features include:
- a preset relief valve set to 25 Bar (363 psi)
- Cell locking mechanism that vents the cell prior to opening.
- The Xcell has been tested to 55 bar
A needle valve and quick release system allows the Xcell to be isolated from the xenon supply while pressurised and moved around the laboratory. This system also means that the transfer line containing the xenon from the cylinder does not need to be vented at any time, saving on valuable xenon.

ed to connect to the xenon cylinder, namely:
- Xcell
- Flexible gas supply line fitted with isolation valves and terminated at the regulator with a 1/4" OD tube for a compression fitting Gas regulator (best to be purchased locally from alternative supplier of gas equipment.)
